BreathBe ("we", "our", or "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains how we handle your information when you use our mobile app.
1. Information We Collect
- Usage Data (Web only): If you use the web version, Google Analytics collects anonymous usage data (pages visited, session duration). No personal identifiers are stored.
- Local Preferences: Breathing settings, session history, journal entries, and sound preferences are stored locally on your device using Capacitor Preferences. We never upload this data to our servers.
- Crash Data: Google Play may collect anonymized crash logs to help us fix bugs.
2. How We Use Your Data
- To improve the app based on anonymous usage patterns
- To provide a personalized breathing experience (locally on your device)
- To fix crashes and technical issues
3. Third-Party Services
- Google Analytics (web version only) — anonymous usage tracking

4. Data Storage & Security
All personal data (journal entries, preferences, session history) stays on your device. We do not operate servers that store user data. Communications with third-party services use industry-standard encryption.
5. Your Rights
You can clear all locally stored data at any time via your device settings (Android Settings → Apps → BreathBe → Storage → Clear data).
6. Children's Privacy
Our app is suitable for all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

We may update this policy. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
